(2) Revlon Nail polish at $4.99 (you get $4.00 ECB for every bottle you buy.limit 6) used  2 /$1.00/ coupons) I got $8.00 back in ECB(extra care bucks) so basically free.

(4) Axe Body spray at $4.33. I used my coupon from 5/22 B1G1 free and got $4.00 ECB

out of pocket paid $14.12

so basically i will have paid $2.12 cent

Albertsons misleading sales ad

Well  Dianne and I went to Albertsons and I have to say I was very, very disappointed.  The way they have the items listed it looks as if certain products are ON SALE and if you buy 10, 20, or 30 of these items (mix or match) then you get an additional instant saving.  THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!

In fact the items are full price and they are advertising them at the price they would be if you bought the quantity suggested.  This is very misleading.  We still saved money but could have done better if the items had actually been on sale.

We are still learning as we go and this was one learning experience that we definately wasn't thrilled about.

Needless to say we will NOT be shopping at Albertsons any time soon again.  Publix and Winn Dixie still remain the best when it comes to saving money.  In our opinion Publix is number 1 on the list. This is our opinion from our shopping experiences so far.  We have saved more and had better customer service.

We are not telling you not to shop at Albertsons, as you may be able to get some really good deals sometimes.  However this ad was very misleading and it is best to probably ask when you go in what the real deal is.

One of our followers told us that there is a great sale going on at Winn Dixie.  She shopped there and found great deals, especially on the B1G1 meat.  Thanks Ronnie.

Went to CVS used $1/1 coupon for Carefree pantyliners on sale at CVS for $1 final price FREE
I paid tax only on these items.

I went to Walmart Thursday and got a awesome deal. I had a coupon from ALL YOU magazine May's issue. On page 14 there was a $5.00 coupon for JMS (just my size clothes). I went straight to the clearance rack and got a cute hoddie burgundy jacket. It was on clearance for $5.00. Used my $5.00 coupon and just had to pay taxes on the purchase.

You don't just have to limit your coupons to the grocery store, There are coupons everywhere!

Well it is official. Publix has there Coupon Policy out. I have posted a copy of what it looks like. They are in a couple of places in Publix. I found these at the front service desk. They also have them by the cashier when you check out, You can just ask them and they will gladly give you a copy to keep. Keep it with your coupons.On the back each policy the store will have a list of what stores they will consider a competitor.Each store will be slightly different.So if you shop at a couple of different Publix's you will need to pick up there there policies This is from the store (the Exchanged ) on 3720 NW 13th st Gainesville.

I love Publix.I did pretty good shopping today. I Spent $75.66 and saved $66.09 using my manufacture coupons, store coupons and there deals at publix. Of course I would save more money if I didn't take the boys with me. It is funny how stuff shows up in my cart when it is time to check out.

I went to pick up a few things today at Publix and asked the manager when  there new coupon policy will be available? He said they will have flyers out this weekend. I went to the store on the corner of 34th and 13th street in Gainesville florida.

Each store will let you know what their store will consider a competitor coupon. So it might be a good idea to get one from a couple stores that you shop at/ That way you can find the best store to maximize your savings using the coupons that you have gathered.

I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life

You know I got all excited when I saw the word (COUPON). So I decided to open another window on my computer and typed in example (Finish-Line coupons) and WOW there was some coupons to choose from. So I copy and paste the coupon on the order and got $15.00 off and free shipping. TIP! always check on-line before you buy because you might be able to save!!!

Just another way to stretch the dollar on a tap water budget!

I am on-call this weekend at the hospital and I am working all weekend. So not much blogging and shopping going on this weekend. We will be spending time with our family's. Hope everyone has a Blessed weekend.

Awesome deal for fuel purchases

Here's a possible deal for you.  This week Publix has a coupon in their weekly add for $10 off the purchase of a $50 gas card. There isn't an activation fee either so that is $50 worth of gas for $40!!! But it gets even better, check out the Winn Dixie in your area and see if they offer fuel perks with their reward card.  As of now, this is only in select areas.

With your Winn Dixie card you can earn $0.05 off per gallon for every $50 spent.
You also earn when you buy certain products featured in the weekly add.  These change each week.
And if you buy baby products you earn $0.10 per gallon with every $25 dollars spent.

Now if you have a participating location in your area you could purchase a gas card from Publix (w/coupon) then head over to Winn Dixie, earn fuel perks and take your Winn Dixie card and gas card to the participating gas station and fill up for less.

Last week I saved $0.45 per gallon!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

More than just change in your pocket

It's nice to save. It's nice to have money left over. But wouldn't it be even better if they paid you to take the merchandise from the store.  That's right it happened again, 2 times this month alone. 2 shopping trips to Walmart. Better than free, they paid me.
Here's what I got on my last trip to Walmart and you can too. 

4 qts. Similac used $5/1 (the Similac was $3.84 each, so there was overage)
2 Purex 3 N 1 trial size packs used $1/1 (Purex was $0.97)
8 (3pk) Ivory soap multipack. These are $0.97, used $1/1
4 pks hotdogs (no coupon, the overage from the other coupons covered this)
1 bunch bananas (also no coupon, used overage)

The total was $26 and after coupons Walmart owed me $0.04. So I had free merchandise, change in my pocket and a bewildered cashier.  The look on her face priceless.

Also freebies scored at Publix:
A total of 10 bottles of Sundown vitamin (variety)
used $1/1 mfg coupon AND $3/1 Publix store coupon
Also Bic Razors posted in a previous blogpost.
the razors were B1G1 ($5.49) used $3/1 per pack ($0.51 overage!!!)

Now the sale is over at Publix for these products but there were NEW coupons in this past Sundays paper.
Which means there may be a sale in the next couple of weeks at Walgreens and CVS. Stay tuned we will keep you posted.

(4) Vitamin Bottles Used: $1.00 coupon from manufacture and found a coupon for $2.00 or $ 3.00 off in the Green Flyer at publix. Combine both coupons manufacture and publix.

(6) 3 pack of Ivory soap. used:$1.00 off coupon from P&G 5/1/11 newspaper. Went to walmart and they were priced at $0.97.

So I will be healthy, Non-hairy and smell good for a couple of months.
