When trying to save money, we are constantly on the look out for good deals, the best deals. So each week we compare sales ads and try to find the lowest prices and the best coupons. One of my golden rules is "Don't go into the store without your coupons." Why you say? Because not every deal is listed in the weekly ad for one. Most of the best deals are found on the front page, just enough to catch your attention, and get you in the store. I don't know about you but once I've walked in the store the last thing I want to do is go all the way back out to my car for my coupons. And since every deal isn't posted in the ad, you may stumble upon a sale, realize you had a coupon (way out in the car) and then if you're not prepared you have 2 choices: either don't buy or get the product at a higher price, and after all, we are here to save money. Also be careful not to impulse buy. You may have intentions on just going to the store for one or two things. The stores strategically place things throughout the store and at the check out counter, to catch your eye and before you know it your cart is full of stuff you could have really left behind (until the next deal comes along).
You may not always want to lug your coupon book in the store everytime, but believe me most of the time it is worth it.
I was able to score 16 bottles of Propel water for FREE Sunday because I had my coupon book with me.
How: The sale (which I didn't see in the ad) was 2 bottles of water for $1 and I had coupons for $1 off 2 bottles. FREE. This was a great deal because my boys play baseball and if I buy drinks at the concession stand they are $1.50 each. So this was great savings, and my boys loved it.
Happy shopping/ 2 silly coupon ladies strike again.!!!!!
