Teen Driver Challenge - Student/Parent Instructions (FREE)

Teen Driver

Parents, help your teens become better and safer drivers through our 12 hour, free 2 day Teen Driver Challenge. This is a hands-on course for giving teens the experience they need to drive safely under the supervision and training of Alachua County Sheriff's Office staff.

The course is going to be offered twice a month, and will be held on a Friday evening, then continuing all day the following Saturday.
For Friday: Parents will need to drop their teens off at 6pm and return to pick them up at 10pm. No parents will be allowed to stay in the building with the teens. This part of the training is done in a classroom.
For Saturday: The Teens will need to bring their own automobiles as parents will not be allowed to stay. The day starts promptly at 8am and continues until 4pm. Teens will need to bring their own lunch. No one will be allowed to exit or enter the premises during this training, and teens will need to dress appropriately.the next few open sessions will be held on:

This form must be notorized in advance, or the teen will need to bring the form along with their ID to the training to be approved by ASO staff there.
